There is absolutely NO WAY you can see and do everything in the Sedona Arizona area without being there for awhile. There is just too much to see. Especially if you are an outdoor enthusiast and want to get your hike on. One of the best base camps we have found in the Sedona Area can be found in a town called Camp Verde. Here’s why!
Sedona by itself can get pretty pricey AND congested even on a slow day or slow season. If you are like us, we like to play outdoors as much as we can. So being indoors and paying an arm and a leg isn’t something attractive to us. But being mobile and creating a base camp is.
There is no doubt the amount of people that have left big cities in 2020 will end anytime soon. Being mobile now is the new trend as technology affords many to be able to work remotely. Which is why we think we have found the ultimate base camp to work, play, and adventure in and around the Sedona Arizona Area.
Which is why we stay at the Verde Ranch RV Resort in Camp Verde. Not only does it accommodate our Airstream, it also has amazing Cabins to rent for the NON RVer but who is just as nomadic as anyone else. But the best thing is it’s proximity to everything FUN. It’s less than 15 miles from Sedona, and only 45 miles from Flagstaff, and a little more than 2 hours to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. What?
