LET’S GET TOGETHER IN THE DESERT, AND GO SWIMMING. If you have ever wanted to find a Spring fed watering hole in the desert, this is your chance to swim in one of Arizona’s best local secret. We are inviting all of you to come out and do some good ol fashion Car Camping in the middle of the amazing Red Rocks of Sedona and the Sycamore Wilderness Canyon just a few miles away.
We’ll also spend some time at the Tuzigoot National Monument. The Tuzigoot Site is an elongated complex of stone masonry rooms that were built along the spine of a natural outcrop in the Verde Valley. The central rooms stand higher than the others and they appear to have served public functions. The pueblo has 110 rooms. ″Tú Digiz/Tuzigoot″ is a Tonto Apache term for “crooked waters”.
After our tour, we will head to the Parson’s Trail just outside from the Sycamore Wilderness Canyon. We will make our way 3.5 miles to the best watering/swimming hole in Arizona. We’ll find some old mines and explore the canyon floor by following the Verde Rive and Spring. For those who want to camp next to the Parson’s Spring bring your backpack and tent. We’ll also explore some old mines and go into the Canyon.
THIS IS A FREE TRIP AND GET TOGETHER
